BMW Motorrad To Raise Prices By 2.5% in India from January 2025
BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle arm of German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW, announced that it will raise the prices of all its motorcycles by 2.5% effective January 2025. The price rise is meant to counter increasing material costs and inflation, which have increased the company's cost of doing business.
Reasons for the Price Increase
The price hike of BMW Motorrad motorcycles is similar to actions taken by the brand in relation to its car models. In its statement, BMW asserts that the price hike is required in maintaining the high-quality standards and profitability for which the brand is recognized, so as not to compromise on offering quality performance and value to its customers even in the economic constraints of increasing production costs.

Others in the luxury automaker list have followed suit with the same intention, like Mercedes-Benz India, which aims to raise prices on some models by up to 3% from January 1, 2025.
