Honda Activa CNG: Eco-Friendly Ride with 100km Mileage!

Honda is set to launch its first electric Activa scooter on November 27, with rumors hinting at a CNG variant. The CNG model may feature dual tanks with a 100km range and upgraded design. Priced between ₹1.20-1.50 lakh, it rivals Ola S1 and Bajaj Chetak EV.

Much of Honda's new Activa has been doing the rounds in the media, likely to be launched in multiple variants, one of which could include a CNG variant. With Bajaj having entered the fray with CNG two-wheelers, there had been much speculation about Honda's move. Now, it appears that the Activa could arrive in a CNG version as well as an electric variant.

A Marvel of Mileage

According to reports, the front storage shall be provided with dual compact CNG tanks. These shall offer an incredible mileage of up to 100 kilometers in a single fill. It shall certainly be an earth-friendly and cost-effective vehicle for daily commuters.

Electric Activa Launch Date

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India is all set to roll out its first electric scooter on 27th of November. The new model, which is expected to carry the magical name Activa, has already been featured at EICMA 2024. It boasts two removable battery packs that would make it even more convenient to use.
As compared to others like iQube of TVS, Ather 450, and Ola S1, the electric Activa will be recognized for technology and smoother ride experience.

Price and Features

The CNG and electric model prices are expected to fall in the range of ₹1.20 lakh to ₹1.50 lakh, as claimed by industry sources. All the variants of the new scooter will be provided with adequate space for storage, comfortable seating, and other latest features. The fixed battery variant of the current electric model will be available, and from next year, there is also going to be a variant with a removable battery.
