Honda has patented the design of the latest-generation CB190TR neo-retro bike in India. This motorcycle shares its 184cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine and various chassis components with the Honda Hornet 2.0.
Key Features of the CB190TR:
- Engine: 184cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 16.7hp and 15.9Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch.
- Shared Components: Same USD fork, wheels, 12-litre fuel tank, and braking system as the Hornet 2.0.
- Retro Styling: Round LED headlight, flat single-piece seat, stubby exhaust muffler, and a design reminiscent of the CB300R.
The neo-retro CB190TR targets India’s growing retro bike segment. Given its shared parts with the Hornet 2.0, it could enter the market at a competitive price point, likely close to ₹1.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
