LML Electric Scooter: Renowned two-wheeler manufacturer LML is set to make a comeback in the Indian market, but this time, they’re not introducing a petrol bike or scooter. Instead, the company is gearing up to launch an electric scooter named the LML Star. With the design details now patent-protected, LML is fully prepared to make its mark in the electric vehicle segment.

To facilitate the manufacturing and research of electric scooters, LML has partnered with Saira Electric Auto Private Limited (SEAPL). The upcoming scooter has been designed with the assistance of experienced Italian designers who have previously collaborated with leading brands like Ducati, Ferrari, Yamaha, and Kawasaki.

Eye-Catching Design

The LML Star electric scooter will feature a modern design packed with appealing characteristics. It boasts a maxi-scooter design with a flat floorboard, complemented by red accents on the seat and pillion grab handle. The front apron features Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and an automatic headlamp, showcasing a dual-tone design. It remains to be seen how the Star EV will compete with established electric scooters like Ather and Ola in the market.

Performance and Features

While detailed information about the scooter's battery, range, and performance is limited, images reveal a mid-mounted motor that powers the rear wheel via a belt drive system. The scooter is supported by telescopic forks and a side-mounted monoshock for a smooth ride. For braking, it includes disc brakes at both the front and rear, and may also feature single-channel ABS.

LML is expected to launch the Star during the upcoming festive season, making it an exciting addition to the electric scooter market in India.
