Mahindra Launches Two New Electric Vehicles: XEV 9e and Be 6e at Attractive Prices

Mahindra XEV 9e: the homegrown automaker, has launched two much-awaited electric vehicles in India – the XEV 9e and Be 6e. Both models offer futuristic designs, excellent pricing, and an array of modern features that are sure to attract EV enthusiasts. The XEV 9e is priced at Rs 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Be 6e at Rs 18.9 lakh (ex-showroom). Both come in the Pack One variant, which is the base model. But this variant does not have the charger, which one needs to buy separately.

Key Features of Mahindra XEV 9e and Be 6e

Both Mahindra XEV 9e and Be 6e are powered by a 59kWh battery, with a MIDC range of 542 km. The vehicles are equipped with a PMSM e-motor with 231 hp of power and 380 Nm of torque. Now, let's look at the key features of each vehicle:

Mahindra Be 6e Pack One Features

The Be 6e comes with a modern cabin with two 12.3-inch screens - for the infotainment system and for the digital instrument cluster. The car runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. More of its features include connected car technology, OTA updates, and 5G connectivity.

For passengers, the Be 6e offers OTT apps, social media, news, and shopping apps besides Amazon Alexa integration. The vehicle also packs a 150-litre frunk, a cooled glove box, and 65W Type-C ports both at the front and the rear. Other notable features comprise auto climate control, keyless entry, and reclining second-row seats that come with a 60:40 split-folding function.

Other features include safety features such as six airbags, rear disc brakes, and brake-by-wire technology along with rear camera sensors for added security. Additional features include tyre pressure monitoring, an electronic parking brake, and auto headlights.

The XEV 9e has similar features to the Be 6e, such as the 59 kWh battery pack and 542 km MIDC range. The XEV 9e has three 12.3-inch screens: passenger screen, touchscreen infotainment, and digital instrument cluster. The car is connected with technology, wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and OTA updates.

The XEV 9e also has external device compatibility, Amazon Alexa, and an audio system with four speakers and two tweeters. It has fabric upholstery, auto climate control, and 65W Type-C ports in the interior for comfort. It also has reclining second-row seats and a tilt- and telescopic-adjustable steering wheel. The car also features cruise control to make long drives even more convenient.
