Royal Enfield has issued a global recall for a specific batch of motorcycles due to faulty rear and side reflectors. The affected bikes were manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023. According to Eicher Motors, the reflectors on these models may not meet the necessary reflective performance standards.

Despite the issue being reported in only a small number of cases, Royal Enfield has taken a proactive step to replace the reflectors on all motorcycles manufactured during this period, free of cost, for customers across all markets.

Phased Service Action

The replacement process will be carried out in phases, starting with South Korea, the USA, and Canada. Other markets, including India, Brazil, Latin America, Europe, and the UK, will follow shortly after. The company stated that the replacement process will take approximately 15 minutes per motorcycle.

Customer Communication

Royal Enfield’s service teams will contact customers whose motorcycles are part of the recall in a phased manner. The recall was officially announced through Eicher’s share market listing.

If your Royal Enfield motorcycle was manufactured between November 2022 and March 2023, it’s recommended to get in touch with the service team to confirm if your bike is affected and arrange for a free replacement of the reflectors.
