Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 & Flip 2: Launching Soon in India with Premium Features
Tecno is gearing up for the Indian launch of its latest foldable smartphones, the Phantom V Fold 2 and Phantom V Flip 2. These devices were initially unveiled in China in September 2024, and product listings for both models are already live on Amazon India. However, the official launch date is yet to be confirmed.
Tecno Phantom V Fold 2: Design and Features
The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 comes with a sleek design that hosts a 6.41-inch 3D curved outer display and a 7.85-inch flat foldable inner screen. It's one of those dual-display devices that can bring balance to compact functionality and large, immersive foldable screens. It comes with an aerospace-grade hinge tested to fold more than 400,000 times. The cover screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for scratch and drop resistance.
Unfolded, it measures only 5.5mm in thickness and 11.98mm folded, for a very slender profile. Two premium colors will be offered for the Phantom V Fold 2: Karst Green and, with Spanish luxury brand Loewe, a developed Rippling Blue.
The camera front is equipped with a 50MP primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), 50MP ultra-wide lens, and 50MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom. Additionally, it has a 32MP camera on the outer and foldable screens, which will help provide good selfies and video calls. The device is powered by a 5750mAh battery that supports 70W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Tecno Phantom V Flip 2: A Tiny and Stylish Device
This Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 is the design version, with its appearance being more compact as opposed to the Phantom V Fold 2. It has a 3.62-inches AMOLED cover display and a 6.88-inches foldable AMOLED panel like the Phantom V Fold 2. It also uses aerospace-grade hinge design, tested with folds over 400,000 times, and is guarded with Corning Gorilla Glass 8.
