Yamaha Showcases Exciting Range of Motorcycles and Scooters at Auto Expo 2025

Yamaha unveiled a stunning lineup of motorcycles and scooters at Auto Expo 2025, including the Tenere 700, Lander 250, MT-09, and R3. These models are set to compete with some of the biggest names in the industry, offering impressive features and performance for adventure, sports, and commuter riders alike.
 

Yamaha unveiled the Tenere 700 at Auto Expo 2025, designed for adventure lovers. This motorcycle features a fully adjustable 41mm KYB inverted fork with 210mm of wheel travel and a fully adjustable monoshock with 200mm of wheel travel, making it perfect for off-road enthusiasts. It also boasts a ground clearance of 240mm. The Tenere 700 will compete with the Triumph Tiger 660 Sport, Honda XL750 Transalp, and Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE when launched in India.

Yamaha Lander 250: Dual-Sport Motorcycle for Every Terrain

Yamaha also showcased the Lander 250, a dual-sport bike built with dirtbike-inspired styling and long-travel suspension. Powered by the 250cc engine from the now-discontinued FZ-25, the Lander 250 generates 20.5PS and 20.1Nm, coupled with a 6-speed gearbox. With 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels, the bike is equipped with dual-sport tyres, making it ready for adventure.

Yamaha MT-09: Naked Hypersport for Speed Enthusiasts

The MT-09 is built on the same platform as the R9 and features an 890cc, liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine producing 119PS and 93Nm. With a 6-speed gearbox, bi-directional quick shifter, and slipper clutch, it delivers exceptional performance. It comes equipped with Brembo brakes and is expected to rival the Triumph Street Triple 765, Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster, and BMW F 900 R when launched in India.

Yamaha R7: Successor to the Legendary R6

The Yamaha R7 carries forward the legacy of the R6. Powered by a 689cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, the R7 produces 73.4PS and 67Nm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and optional quickshifter. Advanced riding aids and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity make it a tech-savvy choice for enthusiasts. It is expected to launch in India soon.

Yamaha R3: Updated Twin-Cylinder Supersport

The Yamaha R3, showcased at the Auto Expo, features a 321cc twin-cylinder engine that generates 42PS and 29.5Nm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Although the updated version is available abroad, Yamaha plans to launch it in India soon with an expected price of ₹4.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yamaha Nmax 155: The Maxi Scooter with Modern Features

The Nmax 155 is a maxi scooter powered by a 155cc engine from the Aeroz 155 and R15 V4, producing 15.1PS and 13.5Nm. It features a digital instrument cluster, keyless ignition, traction control, and a 7.1-litre fuel tank. Weighing around 131kg, it will compete with the Aprilia XSR 160 and Hero Xoom 160 when launched in India.

Yamaha FZ-S Fi DLX Hybrid: More Power, More Fuel Efficiency

Yamaha also showcased the FZ-S Fi DLX Hybrid. This commuter bike, powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with hybrid assist, offers improved fuel efficiency and a slight power boost. The updated styling includes tank-integrated indicators, redesigned front-end, and all-LED lighting. It also features an 810mm seat height, a 10-litre fuel tank, and weighs 139kg.
