In a heartbreaking incident from Bengaluru, a 33-year-old woman, Archana Kamat, died after donating a part of her liver to her husband's aunt. According to a report by The Times of India, Archana made the selfless decision to donate a portion of her liver to save her husband’s ailing aunt, who had been searching for a liver donor for 18 months. Tragically, complications following the surgery led to her untimely death just days after the procedure. Archana leaves behind her husband and a four-year-old son.

Archana Kamat, a lecturer, was the mother of a four-year-old boy. Her husband works as a chartered accountant. Archana's husband’s aunt had been suffering from liver-related ailments for years and was in desperate need of a donor. After learning about the situation, Archana decided to donate a part of her liver to save her. Sadly, Archana passed away at Sevaanjali Charitable Trust Hospital in Bengaluru.
