Delhi Boy Killed Mother: In Delhi’s West District, a shocking murder took place in Raghuveer Nagar, Khayala, where a son allegedly strangled his mother to death after she opposed his plans for a love marriage. Initially, the accused tried to mislead the police by fabricating a story of a robbery. However, his deceitful narrative quickly unraveled under thorough investigation.

According to the police, suspicions arose when they discovered that no valuable items were missing from the home. Upon questioning the son more aggressively, he reportedly admitted to the crime. Investigators say the younger of two brothers, Sagar, became furious when his mother, Sulochana (45), refused to support his wish for a love marriage—particularly after his elder brother Kapil had recently become engaged through traditional arrangements.

Sagar, who is a driver by profession, admitted that his mother's refusal to endorse his love marriage angered him deeply. Feeling slighted and determined to remove the barrier to his plans, he plotted to kill her. After allegedly strangling his mother, he concocted the story of a robbery to divert suspicion.

The father of the family had died in 2019. After Sulochana's murder, local police, in collaboration with the district's Special Staff team, arrested Sagar. DCP West Vichitra Veer confirmed the arrest and said that the probe is underway to gather all the details about the crime.
