High-Profile Delhi Wedding Fight: Trainee IPS Allegedly Attacks UPSC Coach with Glass

A high-profile wedding in the Kapashera area of Delhi turned violent on the night of December 6, as an altercation broke out between UPSC coach Vikas Dhyal and Trainee IPS officer Rahul Balhara. The situation escalated into a physical confrontation, with Dhyal claiming that Balhara threw a glass at his head, causing severe injuries and bleeding.

According to Dhyal, the argument began at a wedding attended by several prominent persons. Other guests tried to intervene, but the altercation turned physical. CCTV footage later captured the incident, showing Balhara allegedly throwing a glass at Dhyal's head, which left obvious injuries.

He uploaded a video of the incident on social media, where he claimed that Balhara, a 2023 batch trainee IPS officer from Tripura, had attacked him and threatened to ruin his life. He further accused Balhara of trying to emotionally blackmail his parents and make false complaints against him.

This incident has caused outrage, and Dhyal questions how ordinary citizens can expect justice when those meant to uphold the law engage in such actions. The case is still under investigation, and both parties are waiting for further legal proceedings.
