Haridoy Police Attack: Haridoy's village, Baghaucha saw the worst form of attacks from a gang of miscreants on policemen, who were called upon by a local to be produced there after he filed a complaint regarding illegal occupation of his land by two others. Here, the case occurred in the form of complaints from a local against an encroachment into his land by two, named Anand and Prithvilaal.

Subhash had previously complained about the illegal encroachment of his land to the local authorities through the IGRS. Following his complaint, an official team led by the tehsildar was sent to remove the encroachment, as per the instructions of SDM Shahabad. After measuring and assessing the land, the team successfully removed the illegal structures.

However, the very moment the official team left, the accused, Anand Kumar, Prithvilaal, and a woman, reportedly, started re-occupying the land. Subhash, who was upset over this, immediately informed Dial 112 about the situation.

Attack on Police Officers: A Viral Video

When the Dial 112 police officers, including constables Akhilesh Tiwari and Monu Chaudhary, reached the spot, they were confronted by the encroachers. Anand Kumar allegedly caught one of the constables from behind, and the woman in the case tried to pull their uniforms. The police officers were verbally abused, and the situation worsened. A bystander recorded the incident, and the video soon went viral on social media.

Police Action: None So Far

Although the case is sensitive, and a video uploaded to the social media about the case went viral on social media, no step has been taken by police. This situation raises questions against the safety and security measures taken for police personnel on cases like land disputes.
