Bangladeshi Porn Star Arohi Barde Arrested in Thane: Passport Fraud Scandal Unveiled!

Thane police have arrested Aarohi Barde, also known as Banna Sheikh, a Bangladeshi adult film star, on charges of obtaining a fraudulent Indian passport. The arrest comes as her troubles mount, with police filing charges against her under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 479 (forgery for the purpose of using as genuine), and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention), as well as Section 14(A) of the Foreigners Act.

The Hill Line police station in Thane initiated the investigation after scrutinizing the documents submitted for the passport application, leading to Barde's arrest. This is not her first brush with the law; she had previously been arrested for involvement in prostitution. Authorities allege that she lived in India with her family using a fake Indian passport.

Police Pursuit for Family Members

In addition to Barde, the police are currently searching for several of her family members. Among those being sought are Anjali Rajaram Patil, also known as Ruby Sheikh, who is Barde's mother; her brother, Ravindra Arvind Barde, also known as Riyaz Sheikh; and another relative, Ritu Arvind Barde, also referred to as Moni Sheikh.

Inquiry Into Indian Accomplice

Furthermore, police are on the lookout for another individual named Arvind Shamaraw Barde, an Indian citizen who allegedly prepared all the fraudulent documents for the passport application. He has claimed to be Aarohi Barde's father, and his name appears on the copy of the fraudulent passport that has come to light.

Misuse of Indian Citizenship

Aarohi Barde has also been accused of misusing Indian citizenship. Reports indicate that she filed false domestic violence cases against two individuals. The ongoing investigation raises questions about how such fraudulent activities went undetected for an extended period.
