Cockroach Found in Meal on Vande Bharat Express, Passenger Files Complaint with Railway Authorities, Watch Video

In a disturbing incident that has raised serious food safety concerns, a passenger aboard the Vande Bharat Express discovered a live cockroach in the daal served during the journey. The passenger immediately lodged a complaint with railway authorities and demanded swift action. The incident has garnered attention on social media, with a video and photos posted online showing the passenger expressing his outrage.

The video captures the man confronting railway officials and a police officer, explaining that his relative discovered a dead cockroach in their meal. He voiced his concerns about the potential health risks associated with consuming contaminated food, particularly for vulnerable individuals like his 80-year-old grandfather, who was traveling with him. The passenger also complained about being served sour curd along with the meal.

Alongside the video, the passenger shared a photo of the meal and a copy of the complaint receipt filed with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The complaint detailed the presence of a live cockroach in the daal and a dead cockroach in another part of the meal, in addition to the sour curd.

 

The railway authorities have assured that they are investigating the matter and will take appropriate action to address the issue and prevent such incidents in the future. The incident has prompted calls for stricter quality control measures to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers.
