Surat: Patient Assaults Female Resident Doctor During Treatment — What Led to the Violent Outburst?

Surat: In a troubling incident at Surat's New Civil Hospital, a patient has been reported to have physically assaulted a female resident doctor. According to sources, the patient, who was sent to the hospital from Limbayat Police Station in an injured state, was identified by the RMO as suffering from a mental illness.

During the night, while receiving treatment, the patient began to physically attack his mother. At the same time, the female resident doctor was attending to other patients. The situation escalated when the patient assaulted the doctor, pulling her hair and pushing her.

Following the incident, the hospital administration informed the Khatodara Police about the situation. The Khatodara Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
