Elon Musk Responds to Viral Pics of His College Physics Homework: 'There Are Some Pages Missing

Elon Musk responded to viral images of his physics homework from the University of Pennsylvania, where he derived moments of inertia from first principles. His comments and the ensuing online excitement highlight the lasting influence of his academic journey on his success.

In a surprise return to his college days, Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has reacted to pictures of his university physics homework that have recently gone viral on social media. The pictures were posted by user X Dima Zeniuk and expose the calculations made by Musk when attending the University of Pennsylvania. The post quickly went viral and not only for their nostalgic value but also the careful and impressive physics work Musk had done as a student.

An online discussions wave sprouted more particularly in how much Musk knew of complex physics. Minh v Duong suggested the calculations were somehow linked with "computation of inertia tensor," thus sparking much excitement within the followers and opening a debate on the complexity of knowledge associated with academics from his side.

Musk's Response: Insightful, Yet Humble

Elon Musk himself commented to the growing excitement: "Derivation of moments of inertia from first principles. Some pages are missing from the post." This only increased the interest in the fans and followers, and Zeniuk soon posted more pages from Musk's book. This with the new pages that he shared presently about his college work further fueled and increased interest in his academic background, now going viral through the internet.

Internet Showers Response to Musk's College Work

As the images spread, many internet users paid tribute to Musk's academic path. One commenter wrote, "One of the main reasons for your success is that you learned the language – math and physics – necessary to understand what you want to do." Another user added, "This topic is fascinating, and I'm always eager to learn more about the fundamental principles behind these important concepts." Others brought some levity by making jokes about his own handwriting, pointing to the human side of a tech giant.

Elon Musk Academic Background: A Platform for Innovation

But educational background is also strikingly impressive, as the entrepreneurial experience. Musk started his higher education at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, moving to the University of Pennsylvania further. At Pennsylvania, Musk graduated from Wharton School with a dual degree majoring in economics and from the College of Arts and Sciences with physics. Energy physics became the core business for Tesla and SpaceX.
