Vodafone-Idea Future Plans: During the IMC and ITU WTSA 2024 opening, Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, outlined the future of Vodafone-Idea (VIL). He expressed confidence that, with the government's continued support, VIL will play a crucial role in shaping India's digital future. Sunil Bharti Mittal, head of Bharti Airtel, also spoke at the IMC, emphasizing his commitment to building a powerful India. He advocated for satellite companies to pay licensing fees and purchase airwaves for their telecom services, similar to existing telecom companies. Mittal stressed that equal opportunities must be provided to all players in the market.
