Alia Bhatt addresses Botox surgery rumors with a bold Instagram post, dismissing false claims and calling out critics. Discover her powerful response here.

There is Bollywood star Alia Bhatt who recently fell into the center of social media storm about how she looks. The belief circulating online was that the actress had received botched Botox treatment, and people had a lot to say and even criticized how she looked. Trying to clear such speculations, Alia took to her Instagram to shut it all down, referring to them as "beyond ridiculous."

On her Instagram story, Alia put an end to the speculations with a stern reply. I don't judge anyone who is getting cosmetic correction or surgery—your body, your choice. But wow, this is beyond absurd!" said Alia, referring to viral videos and clickbait articles that went around claiming she had a botched Botox procedure that then allegedly changed her smile and expression. According to you, my smile is crooked and my way of speaking odd," she added, pointing to extreme scrutiny that was given to her appearance.

Alia Responds to Bizarre Criticisms on Natural Looks

Alia also breathed out her frustration at the hyper-critical approach towards her natural expressions. She commented on people who said she had a crooked smile and that her expressions were due to medical problems, like facial paralysis. "Are you kidding? All this serious allegations made without proof or even confirmation. Worse still, you're influencing your younger and impressionable minds that might go around spreading your nonsense.

Alia noted how damaging such unfounded criticisms can be. She brought forward the point if such rumors were brought for nothing else than clickbait and attention and pointed out that does more damage to self-esteem and mental health.

Alia reflected on the net, where the internet judged and objectified women unfairly. She expressed her disappointment over the constant scrutiny women received regarding their looks, bodies, as well as personal lives. "Why should women be viewed under a microscopic lens on the internet? Their faces, bodies, personal lives, as well as curves, are up for criticism. We should be celebrating individuality, not tearing it apart," she said.

Alia further said that the expectations raised through such standards are unachievable, and people feel like they are never "enough". She alerted her followers to the real damage these judgments cause when she exclaimed, "It's exhausting, and it's harmful."
One of the most agonizing factors in this situation, Alia noted, is that most of these critical remarks came from other women. "The saddest part is that these judgments come from other women," Alia asked rhetorically, hoping her audience would take the time to contemplate this point, adding, "What happened to 'live and let live'? What happened to respecting everyone's choices?"
