Salman Khan is set to return as the host of Bigg Boss for its 18th season. Recently, he filmed a promotional video for the upcoming season of the popular reality show. According to a report by India Today, this new season will feature a unique theme focusing on the past, present, and future. The theme may also involve connections with former contestants. The promo, expected to air by the end of the month, will showcase Salman discussing these timelines. The show’s house design and format are also rumored to be influenced by this theme.

Speculations and Casting

There has been speculation about previous contestants making a comeback. However, the report clarifies that there are currently no plans for former contestants to return as casting for Bigg Boss 18 is still ongoing. The previous season, Bigg Boss 17, had the theme 'Dil, Dimaag, and Dum', where contestants were divided into different groups.

Salman Khan’s Hosting Journey

Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss since its fourth season. Before him, the show was hosted by Arshad Warsi, Shilpa Shetty, and Amitabh Bachchan in the first three seasons, respectively. Salman also replaced Karan Johar as the host for the second season of Bigg Boss OTT. Anil Kapoor took over as the host for Bigg Boss OTT 3 while Salman was occupied with other commitments.

Salman Khan made his acting debut in Maine Pyar Kiya and has starred in hits like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Dabangg, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Salman’s next project is Sajid Nadiadwala’s action-thriller Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Sathyaraj.
