Bigg Boss Telugu 8: Meet the 14 Contestants and Discover the Show’s New Rules!

The new season of Bigg Boss Telugu, hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni, premiered on Sunday evening. This marks Nagarjuna's sixth consecutive season as the show's host. Previously, Jr NTR and Nani hosted the first two seasons. This season features 14 contestants competing in the house, with a unique twist.

Bigg Boss Telugu 8: Key Changes

In a departure from past seasons, contestants entered the house in pairs. This season, there will be no captaincy and no automatic ration. Unlike previous years, housemates won't have a captain to protect them from voting. Additionally, there will be no weekly ration deliveries. Instead, contestants must earn their food through various tasks, adding an extra layer of challenge.

Celebrities at the Launch

The launch episode featured special appearances from actors Rana Daggubati, Nivetha Thomas, and director Vishwadev Rachakonda, who promoted their film 35: Chinna Katha Kaadu. Nani and Priyanka Mohan also joined the launch to promote their film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram.

Madhoo Nekkanti - Influencer famous for her comedy videos as ‘Bezawada Bebakka’.
Shekar Basha - Radio jockey from 92.7 Big FM.
Aditya Om - Actor known for Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo and Preminchukunnam Pelliki Randi.
Sonia Akula - Actress from George Reddy and Aasha Encounter.
Kiraak Seetha - Actress from Baby and Sarkaar.
Naga Manikanta - Actor from Kasthuri.
Prithviraj Shetty - Actor known for Naga Panchami.

Bigg Boss Telugu 8 airs on Star Maa from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm. It will also be available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
