Border 2: Sunny Deol and Diljit Dosanjh Unite for an Explosive Sequel to the Iconic War Film
The much-anticipated Border 2 has officially been announced, and it stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh. The makers of the film took to social media on Friday to share an announcement video featuring a voice-over by Diljit. The video reads, "The bravest of the brave come together for the biggest war."
In the voice-over, Diljit says, "Iss desh ki taraf uthne wali har nazar, jhuk jaati hai khauf se, inn sarhado par jab guru ke paas pehra dete hain," showcasing his powerful role in the film. Directed by Anurag Singh, who has worked closely with Diljit in several Punjabi films, Border 2 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the franchise.
Diljit Dosanjh's Collaboration with Anurag Singh
Anurag Singh and Diljit Dosanjh have collaborated on successful Punjabi films such as Punjab 1984, often regarded as one of Diljitโs best performances. The duo has also worked together on films like Disco Singh, Super Singh, and the Jatt and Juliet series.

Border Franchise and Sequel Announcement
Border 2 is a continuation of the iconic Border series, which first released in 1997, depicting the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 India-Pakistan War. The original film starred notable actors like Sunny Deol, Akshaye Khanna, and Suniel Shetty.
Following the massive success of Gadar 2 in 2023, the sequel to Border has officially been confirmed. Along with Border 2, Sunny Deol is also set to appear in Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
