Advance booking for the film's premiere shows in the US has already surpassed $500,000, according to its USA distributors, Prathyangira Cinemas. Janhvi Kapoor’s South Debut

This film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s debut in the South Indian film industry. After making her Bollywood debut with Dhadak in 2018, Kapoor has signed two Telugu projects, including Devara: Part 1. She expressed her excitement about this new chapter, stating, “Somehow it makes me feel closer to my mom, to be in that environment, as well as to hear and speak in that language. It just felt like it was the right time.”

In Devara: Part 1, Jr NTR stars as the titular character, with Janhvi Kapoor playing Thangam and Saif Ali Khan portraying Bhaira. The film also features Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain. Originally planned as a standalone film, it has been split into two parts.
