ASTRO, the beloved K-pop boy group, brought joy to fans with a heartfelt on-stage reunion after more than two years. On October 5, 2024, members Cha Eun Woo, MJ, and Jinjin made a surprise appearance during Sanha’s fan meeting, marking the group’s first public performance together since their third concert.

Emotional Reunion at Dusk Till Dawn Fan Meeting

The surprise reunion took place during Sanha's fan meeting event, Dusk Till Dawn, in Seoul. Fans were already excited for the event, but the night became even more special when ASTRO’s members reunited on stage. During his performance of ASTRO’s song "Better With You", Sanha was caught off guard when Cha Eun Woo, Jinjin, and MJ joined him, embracing him from behind. The moment was filled with emotion as the group shared a touching group hug, which moved not only the members but also their fans in the audience.

ASTRO Members Share Time with Fans

After the reunion, the group spent some time interacting with the audience. Jinjin, MJ, Cha Eun Woo, and Sanha introduced themselves and had a lighthearted chat with their fans, sharing memories and expressing their gratitude. Before leaving the stage, the members performed ASTRO's signature group greeting, much to the delight of their loyal fans. ASTRO’s Journey: A Band that Endures

ASTRO, formed by Fantagio, debuted on February 23, 2016, with their first extended play, Spring Up. The group originally consisted of six members: Jinjin, Cha Eun Woo, MJ, Sanha, Rocky, and Moonbin. However, 2023 was a difficult year for the group and their fans. In February, Rocky departed from ASTRO, and the group suffered a tragic loss when Moonbin passed away on April 19, 2023.

Despite these heart-wrenching changes, ASTRO has continued to hold a special place in the hearts of their fans. Earlier this year, on February 23, 2024, the group surprised fans with the release of a special digital single titled "Circles" to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary.

Sanha’s Solo Success

Sanha has been expanding his career both as a singer and an actor. He made his solo debut with the release of his first extended play DUSK on August 6, 2024. The mini-album showcased Sanha’s growth as an artist, featuring a dark and charismatic concept in the lead track "Dive". The accompanying music video further highlighted his artistic evolution, with scenes of Sanha walking through the streets at night, presenting a mature and intense image.

In addition to his music career, Sanha has also made a name for himself in the acting world. He made his acting debut in the web drama Your Playlist, where he starred alongside DreamNote’s Sumin. Sanha later appeared in the romantic comedy K-drama Crazy Love and most recently took on the lead role of Byeon Hyun Jae in the family romance K-drama Romance in the House, further solidifying his position as a versatile entertainer.
