Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film Pushpa 2: The Rule is still nine days away from its theatrical release, but it has already made a huge impact at the box office. With an exciting worldwide release ahead, the film is tracking to break records, especially in the US, where it is outperforming other recent blockbusters like RRR and Jawan. The pre-sales are nothing short of impressive, signaling a bumper opening.

Pushpa 2's US Pre-Sales Surge Ahead of Major Blockbusters

According to trade tracker Venky Box Office, Pushpa 2 has already made impressive sales in the US, well ahead of its official release. On Monday, Venky Box Office shared the advance booking numbers, revealing that the film has earned over $1.38 million in pre-sales from 900 locations and 3420 shows. The tweet shared on X (formerly Twitter) read:

“#Pushpa2TheRule USA Premiere Advance Sales: $1,383,949 - 900 Locations - 3420 Shows - 50008 Tickets Sold.”

The surge in pre-sales suggests that Pushpa 2 could easily cross $1.5 million in advance bookings, putting it in the same league as the biggest Indian films to release in the US. Industry experts note that this is an impressive pace, especially considering it is outpacing RRR and Jawan, two of the highest-grossing Indian films in North America.

Pushpa 2: Tracking Ahead of Blockbusters

The success of Pushpa 2 in the US market is noteworthy. The film has already exceeded the early box office performance of RRR and Jawan, both of which grossed over $15 million in North America. These films were among the top five highest-grossing Indian films in the US, so it’s a big achievement for Pushpa 2 to match their pace.

What’s even more exciting is that the film is on track to rival Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and could soon challenge the all-time record holder, Baahubali 2. Baahubali 2 earned an astounding $20 million in the US, setting a high benchmark for Indian films. Pushpa 2 is moving closer to matching this historic number, adding to the anticipation surrounding its release.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the director's 2021 pan-India hit Pushpa: The Rise. The film continues the journey of Allu Arjun’s iconic character, Pushpa, who is known for his gritty and powerful portrayal of an anti-hero. Alongside Allu Arjun, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Fassil in key roles.

The film is expected to be one of the biggest Indian productions to date, and it will be released on December 5. Fans are eagerly awaiting the continuation of the Pushpa saga, and the early numbers show that the film is likely to be another massive success for Allu Arjun and the team.
