Ranveer Singh collapses on Lootera set in a shocking moment! Director Vikramaditya Motwane reveals what led the Bollywood star to faint during filming.

But what was that one thing Vikramaditya Motwane, director of Lootera, did in order to deliver a power-packed performance? It comes at the cost of health, but it will definitely make the fans fall more in love with Ranveer, who won the hearts of fans with his acting in Lootera.

There is one intense scene in Lootera, where Ranveer gets shot in the back. To feel the pain as authentically as possible, Ranveer attached a paper clip to his back and started running up and down the hilly terrain of Dalhousie where the movie was being filmed. It was no easy feat as it required strenuous efforts. Motwane said, "Ranveer wanted to feel actual pain for the scene. He put a paper clip on his back and ran across the hills, sweating and feeling every ounce of discomfort."

Motwane added, "After we were done shooting, Ranveer took off the clip, and the pain hit him all of a sudden. He collapsed on set. We had to airlift him out of Dalhousie, and the shoot had to be canceled.".

This scene brings out Ranveer Singh's readiness to put reality into his character, which has inspired fans not once or twice but time and again. Ranveer is seen dedicating himself to every project; moments like these reveal the commitment with which he puts himself to giving his all, crossing the boundaries of his physical limit.

While all these makes for a lovely tale in Lootera, it was more recently that Vikramaditya Motwane directed CTRL for Ananya Panday and Vihaan Samat. Netflix released it on October 4.
