Sidharth Malhotra Teams Up with Ekta Kapoor for a Mythological Drama Set to Begin in 2025!

Recently, there have been many updates about Sidharth Malhotra's upcoming films. Earlier, it was reported that he is collaborating with Maddock Films for a love story directed by Tushar Jalota. Additionally, Sidharth is in talks to join Saif Ali Khan in Race 4, as Ramesh Taurani plans to reboot the franchise. Now, we have learned that Sidharth is also discussing a feature film with Ekta Kapoor.

New Project with Ekta Kapoor

According to sources close to the development, Sidharth Malhotra is in advanced discussions with Ekta Kapoor for a new film set to begin shooting in the second half of 2025. The film will be directed by Deepak Mishra, known for his work on the series Panchayat.

A source stated, "Ekta Kapoor and TVF have teamed up to bring unique yet commercial stories to the big screen. This project is part of the deal between Balaji and TVF, and discussions are ongoing with Sidharth Malhotra."

A Unique Cinematic Experience

The upcoming film is described as high in content and will be set against a backdrop of folklore rooted in Hindu mythology. "It’s a high-drama and emotional film, aiming to create a unique cinematic experience like Kantara," the source added. Sidharth is expected to hear the final narration of the film in November, and he will sign the contract once the narration is complete.

Before starting this project with Ekta Kapoor, Sidharth will finish shooting for a romantic comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan, which is set to begin in November. After that, he is expected to work on Race 4, which aims to start production in the first quarter of 2025.
