Stree 3 vs. Bhediya 2: Rajkummar Rao Reveals What’s Next in the Maddock Supernatural Universe

Rajkummar Rao is currently enjoying the success of his latest horror-comedy film, Stree 2. The film has been well-received, continuing the success of the previous installment. When asked about upcoming projects, particularly whether Bhediya 2 or Stree 3 would release first, Rao had some interesting insights.

Bhediya 2 vs. Stree 3: What Comes Next?

In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar Rao admitted he wasn't entirely sure about the release schedule of these films. However, he hinted that Bhediya 2 might hit the screens before Stree 3. He explained that since Stree 2 is already out, the audience could see the sequel to Bhediya—which stars Varun Dhawan—sooner than the next chapter of Stree.

Regarding Stree 3, Rao shared that director Amar Kaushik has a basic idea for the film. Rao expressed confidence that Stree 3 will be made, promising that the team will aim to make it even better than the previous installments. “Banegi, for sure banegi and koshish karenge part 1 and 2 se bhi behtar bane” (It will definitely be made and we will try to make it better than Stree part 1 and 2),” he said.

Reflecting on His Past Work

Rao also reflected on his 2012 film Shahid, which earned him a National Award. He admitted that, with his current experience and maturity, he might approach the film differently if given the chance today. “What I was 10 years back and what I am today is different. I am more experienced and mature now. It’s natural for actors to look back and wish they could have done things differently,” he shared.

Upcoming Projects

Looking ahead, Rajkummar Rao will star in Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video alongside Triptii Dimri. The drama film is set for release on October 11, 2024, and is highly anticipated by fans.
