Tamil Producer Dilli Babu Passes Away at 50: A Big Loss for the Tamil Cinema

 

In a heartbreaking development, Tamil film producer Dilli Babu passed away in the early hours of September 9, 2024, in Chennai. The 50-year-old producer reportedly breathed his last at around 12:30 am after being admitted to a private hospital due to illness. His funeral is scheduled for 4:30 pm on the same day.

Producer SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures expressed his condolences on social media, stating, "Deeply saddened by the loss of producer #Dillibabu of @AxessFilm Factory. So many young and new talents were supported by him. A big loss to the film industry."

As per reports, Dilli Babu’s body will be brought to his Perungalathur home in Chennai for homage at 10:30 am. Friends, family, and colleagues are expected to pay their final respects. His contribution to Tamil cinema has left a lasting legacy.
