Akhilesh Yadav's Ghaziabad Rally: SP MLA Atul Pradhan’s Clash with Police Over Seating Protocol

As Ghaziabad prepares for by-elections in the Sadar constituency, Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav arrived in the city on Tuesday to address a public rally. During the rally, Yadav proclaimed, “We will raise the flag of 'PDA' across the nation and form our own government.”

 

During the altercation, Pradhan remarked, "Alright, we’ll leave," while his supporters expressed frustration, insisting, "We are Samajwadi people; this is unfair." The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) reiterated that Pradhan’s name was not on the protocol list, maintaining the stance on security procedures.

The incident added a moment of tension to Akhilesh Yadav’s rally, highlighting security protocol issues amidst the campaign preparations for the upcoming by-election.
