During the altercation, Pradhan remarked, "Alright, we’ll leave," while his supporters expressed frustration, insisting, "We are Samajwadi people; this is unfair." The Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) reiterated that Pradhan’s name was not on the protocol list, maintaining the stance on security procedures.

The incident added a moment of tension to Akhilesh Yadav’s rally, highlighting security protocol issues amidst the campaign preparations for the upcoming by-election.
