Amit Shah Hails 'Political Stability' in India After 60 Years, Celebrates 100 Days of Modi 3.0 Government

NEW DELHI (Sept. 17) — Union Home Minister Amit Shah today praised the political stability achieved under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s third term, marking 100 days since the BJP, with the support of its allies, formed the government. Speaking at a press conference, Shah highlighted the unprecedented political stability India has experienced for the first time in 60 years.

Shah emphasized the significance of this milestone, noting that maintaining policy direction, speed, and implementation over the past decade had been challenging. He said, “Entering the 11th year with consistent policies was a tough task, but we have achieved it, bringing about political stability that has eluded the nation for decades.”

The Home Minister lauded the Modi administration’s accomplishments, stating that it had received a popular mandate for a third term in office following sustained efforts to advance the nation’s development, security, and welfare. “This historic decision has made our leader the first to govern India three times in 60 years,” Shah remarked.

He also highlighted the achievements of Modi's previous terms, including bolstering India’s external and internal security and enhancing the defense system. “India is now a secure nation. Our educational sector has seen significant progress, and ‘Make in India’ has transformed India into a leading global manufacturing hub,” Shah added.

In the past 100 days, the government has launched projects worth approximately ₹15 lakh crore. Shah detailed that ₹3 lakh crore worth of projects had been announced and commenced, including the construction of a massive port in Vadhavan, Maharashtra, which is expected to rank among the top 10 ports globally.

Shah concluded by affirming that the ‘Amrit Kaal’ under Modi’s leadership is a testament to the nation’s belief in his vision for development, with 1.4 billion citizens participating in the country’s growth journey.
