REWADI, Haryana — Tensions flared among BJP workers in the Rewari district on Wednesday as they expressed their frustration against the party's candidate for the Bawal Assembly seat, Dr. Krishna Kumar. The protests erupted due to his delayed arrival for a scheduled campaign event, which was set for 11:15 a.m. in the village of Keshopur. Despite the workers' early preparations, including bringing a DJ for his welcome, Kumar arrived nearly two hours late, igniting anger among the party faithful.

Delayed Arrival Causes Outrage: Dr. Krishna Kumar was supposed to arrive at Keshopur at 11:15 a.m. for a campaign rally but arrived almost two hours late, angering his supporters.

Protests Erupt: As workers awaited him near a petrol pump along the old route, Kumar took a new path into the village, prompting protests and chants against him upon his arrival.

Allegations of Disrespect: Local workers accused Kumar of ignoring their efforts and surrounding himself with a select few, leading to claims of disrespect toward the grassroots members.

BJP Flags and Caps Thrown: In a show of dissent, the disgruntled workers removed BJP flags and caps, signaling their displeasure and a threat to oppose Kumar in the upcoming elections.
