BJP MLA's Nephew Accused of Harassment in Chandauli: Police Launch Investigation
The incident has led to an FIR being filed, and authorities are now investigating the claims.
In a startling development from Uttar Pradesh, Dhananjay Singh, the nephew of BJP MLA Dharmendra Singh, faces accusations of harassment from a hospital warden. The incident has led to an FIR being filed, and authorities are now investigating the claims.
The controversy erupted when a female warden from the Yatharth Nursing and Paramedical College accused Dhananjay Singh of inappropriate behavior. According to the warden, Singh, who is also a doctor, allegedly attempted to harass her within the hospital premises. Following the warden's complaint, she approached the Additional Director General (ADG) seeking justice. Subsequently, the ADG directed the local police to file a case under sections 74, 352, 351(2), and 316 of the Indian Penal Code.
Dhananjay Singh, however, vehemently denies the allegations. He claims that the accusations are fabricated and that the warden is attempting to deflect attention from her own misconduct. Singh alleges that the warden has been involved in embezzling funds related to student scholarships at the college. According to Singh, when the scholarship funds were requested, the warden retaliated by lodging false charges against him.
The police are currently investigating the case to uncover the truth behind these serious allegations. As the investigation unfolds, both parties are preparing to present their respective cases, with Singh maintaining his innocence and accusing the warden of ulterior motives.
