Delhi Police Arrests Two Dangerous Criminals Linked to Neeraj Bawana Gang

Delhi Police apprehended two criminals linked to the Neeraj Bawana gang, foiling a planned murder. The arrested individuals, Rakesh and Akhil, were found with weapons and ammunition. Rakesh, previously involved in a murder case, and Akhil, wanted for 12 crimes, are notorious members of the gang.
 

Delhi Police's Crime Branch has arrested two dangerous criminals associated with the notorious Neeraj Bawana gang. The accused, Rakesh alias Jatti (48) and Akhil alias Maya (28), were caught with three country-made pistols and four live cartridges. Their arrest has prevented a major murder plot from unfolding.

Rakesh is a parole jumper and is wanted in a murder case at PS Raj Park in Delhi, while Akhil is a prominent member of the Neeraj Bawana gang, wanted in 12 criminal cases. Akhil has committed gruesome crimes like murder, robbery, and attacks on public servants besides violating the Arms Act. They had come to Delhi to commit a murder, and their apprehension led the whole operation to an unexpectedly big network supplying illegal firearms.

One such gangster, Neeraj Bawana, now confined in Tihar Jail, is notorious for handling over 40 criminal cases - extortion, murder, robbery among many. He is still doing business from behind the bar with his gang, pulling out different illegal activities in different districts of Delhi.
