As part of an ongoing operation to curb the rising gangster activities, the Delhi Police conducted extensive overnight raids across various hideouts linked with notorious gangs in the NCR region.
These operations involved teams leading from the Special Cell, Crime Branch, and local police against criminal networks associating with Lawrence Bishnoi, Kaushal Chaudhary, Gogi, Tillu Tajpuriya, and Neeraj Bawania.

Main Raids Across NCR Gangster Hideouts:
Delhi Police sources reported that the raid was made late at night targeting a spate of notorious gangs operating in Delhi and its vicinity. The raids were quite concentrated in outer Delhi regions like Dwarka, Northeast Delhi, Narela, Kanjhawala, and Sangam Vihar where gangsters have recently increased their pace of functioning. These gangs, often operating from outside the country or from within prison itself, have planned attacks on business owners, contractors, and property developers demanding extortion through acts of intimidation and violence.

Within the last few weeks, Delhi has had a series of violent crimes attributed to gangsters, including shootings and targeted killings. This spate of criminal activity prompted the Delhi Police to prepare and send a special task force with members from the Special Cell, Crime Branch, Special Staff, and other local police stations to meet this challenge.

Our teams have successfully detained several individuals associated with notorious gangs, and we expect significant developments in the coming days, he stated.
