Diljit Dosanjh's two-day concert in Delhi on October 26 and 27 prompts a traffic advisory from Delhi Traffic Police. Road closures and restrictions will be in effect to manage the expected congestion. Concert-goers should plan ahead and consider public transport.

 

Punjab-born singer Diljit Dosanjh is all set to rock Delhi with his two-day concert, "Dil Luminati", scheduled at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on 26 and 27 October at 7:00 PM. Keeping a lookout for the festival, the Delhi Traffic Police have issued a travel advisory asking commuters to take note of road closure and diversion.

There will be restrictions on traffic flow from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM on both days of the concert. It advises people not to use restricted routes and to seek alternative routes to reduce congestion. It is advised that, in these times, motor vehicles should make use of public transport for easy access to the concert and lesser traffic problems.

Ticket-holders can enter the ground by Gate Nos. 2, 5, 6, 14 and 16. Gates 1 and 15 have been kept for emergency alone and in case of an emergency, one can easily access it.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Delhi Traffic Police said, "Considering the live music concert by Diljit Dosanjh, traffic regulations will come into force." They further added, "Sufficient traffic arrangements have been made for diversion and regulation of traffic" in view of the gathering.

Heavy Transport Vehicles shall not use the route from JLN Stadium Red Light along BP Marg during hours of traffic restriction. The step is expected to ease the safety and movement of the attendees and the local residents.
