HOSUR, India (AP) — The Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Karnataka's border town of Hosur have taken a unique turn this year with the installation of a High Court-themed pandal. This creative setup has drawn considerable attention, featuring Ganesh idols dressed as judges, lawyers, and clerks within a mock courtroom.

In the Sri Nagar area of Hosur, organizers have recreated a High Court setting complete with a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and a plywood police jeep parked nearby. The High Court-themed pandal showcases Ganesh as the judge, lawyer, clerk, and police officer, adding a humorous and innovative twist to the traditional festival.

The elaborate setup cost approximately seven lakh rupees and was constructed by a team led by Uday Kumar within a span of 25 days. This is a follow-up to last year's police station-themed pandal, also set up in Sri Nagar.

The display has attracted visitors from Hosur and beyond, including Bengaluru. The artistic team behind the creation has been commended for their ingenuity and effort.

The High Court-themed pandal has quickly become a highlight of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, illustrating the vibrant and inventive spirit of the festival in Karnataka's border regions.
