They reportedly robbed her of her phone and money before physically assaulting her. The attackers allegedly covered her mouth and dragged her into a nearby jungle, where two other men were waiting.

The four men then assaulted her, and the victim claims that a stick and chili powder were inserted into her private parts. The victim managed to escape and returned home, where her husband called the police. The victim believes that the assault was planned by her neighbor, Jayanti Devi, who had previously accused her of having an illicit relationship with her husband. Following a dispute over this issue, Jayanti allegedly threatened the victim and later orchestrated the gangrape.

While the police have registered a case of gangrape based on the victim's complaint, they are still investigating the matter. The police have detained the two men named by the victim for questioning. However, initial reports suggest there is no concrete evidence of gangrape or brutality. Authorities are awaiting the medical report to determine the course of further action.
