Ghaziabad Man Returns Home After 30 Years: In a heartwarming turn of events, a man who was kidnapped 31 years ago was finally reunited with his family in Ghaziabad, thanks to the diligent efforts of the local police. The man, named Raju (also known as Pannu), had been separated from his family when he was just seven years old. He was abducted from his home town Sahibabad and taken to a remote place in Rajasthan where he was allegedly detained and made to work with less humane conditions.

According to Raju, he was constantly abused by his captors, who made him do very hard work throughout the day. The situation was worsened by the cruelty of the family that kidnapped him. However, despite the abuse, Raju found a small measure of solace in the kindness of the younger children in the household, who would secretly give him food and show empathy.

One day, Raju managed to get into the back of a truck and hide there, eventually ending up in Delhi. He tried to seek help at a few police stations in the city, but he failed because he could not remember even a single detail about his hometown or where his family lived. Through the years, Raju lost touch with his roots, but he never stopped searching for answers.

On November 22, Raju ended up in the Khoda Police Station in Ghaziabad where he narrated his spine-chilling story to the police. The police then traced his origins from Sahibabad to his family and found that his father, Tularam, who worked with the electricity department, had filed a case three decades ago alleging abduction of his son by miscreants. The case remained unsolved for several years.

Thanks to the police, who were extremely meticulous in the case, after 31 long years, Raju returned home. According to ACP Rajneesh Upadhyay, after thoroughly investigating the matter, Raju was traced back to his house in Shaheed Nagar from where he was welcomed with the utmost glee by three sisters.

This is the incredible story of survival and perseverance, reminding us all of the power of hope and the importance of never giving up, no matter how long the journey. Reunion brought tears of joy to Raju and his family, who had waited more than three decades to see their loved one again.
