Jammu Kashmir Earthquake:  Jammu and Kashmir experienced a 5.8-magnitude earthquake, with tremors felt in parts of the Himalayan region. The earthquake, which occurred at 4:19 AM, had its epicenter on the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border. While no significant damage or casualties have been reported, the earthquake's aftershocks affected various areas.
 

Jammu Kashmir Earthquake: Jammu and Kashmir saw a very strong earthquake of 5.8 magnitude on the Richter scale send tremors through the region. According to the USGS, the epicenter was located in the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border area. The National Earthquake Monitoring Center also confirmed that the quake struck at a depth of 209 kilometers, with coordinates at 71.32°E longitude and 36.62°N latitude.

The quake struck at about 4:19 AM and was felt across several parts of the Himalayan region, including Jammu and Kashmir, though no reports of damage or casualties have surfaced so far. This is the second tremor to hit the region within the past 24 hours. Despite the intensity, there have been no immediate reports of significant harm, but authorities have issued alerts for potential aftershocks.

This event highlights the vulnerability of the region to seismic activity, given its proximity to the tectonically active Himalayan range. Emergency services are on standby to assess any damage should further tremors occur.
