Jharkhand: Miscreants Blow Up Railway Track in Sahibganj, Foil Major Conspiracy Attempt
A shocking incident has emerged from Ranchi, Jharkhand, where miscreants detonated explosives on the railway track near Sahibganj, disrupting train services. The explosion occurred on the Lalmatia-Farakka MGR railway line, damaging a 470-centimeter section of the track and creating a 770-centimeter gap. The blast was so powerful that a portion of the track was found 39 meters away from the explosion site.
The incident happened near Ranga Ghuttu village in the Barhet police station area, and although there were no casualties, it caused panic in the surrounding region. Authorities, including the Jharkhand Police, Railway Protection Force (RPF), and senior railway officials, rushed to the scene to begin investigations. The cause behind the explosion remains unclear, and it is still being determined whether Naxal groups or other miscreants were responsible for the attack.
The explosion, which occurred around midnight, was initially undetected by the railway night guard, who reported that the tracks were intact until 10 PM during routine checks. The authorities are investigating the matter thoroughly, and strict action is expected following the probe. The disruption caused by the blast has raised concerns about the safety of railway infrastructure in the area.
