  1. Karnataka Deputy CM Plans Annual Poojas to Ensure Water Sufficiency After Sufficient Rainfall

I am very happy to inform that we have received sufficient water due to the rain.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar expressed his satisfaction with the recent rainfall, stating, "I am very happy to inform that we have received sufficient water due to the rain." He emphasized the need for caution among farmers, particularly those near the borders, warning them to stay vigilant in case of excess water flow.
Shivakumar also mentioned plans to conduct a pooja this week on significant auspicious days, which he had discussed with the Chief Minister. He announced that a team would be sent to Varanasi to participate in a Ganga pooja, with the intention of initiating a similar ritual in Karnataka next year. The Deputy CM expressed hopes that by performing this pooja regularly, the occurrence of droughts would decrease and the state's dams would remain adequately filled.
