Moradabad: Brave Policeman Risks His Life to Save Youth from River; Praised by SSP Satpal Antil and SP City Ranvijay

In Moradabad, a courageous act by Constable Pramod Kumar from Nagfani police station has garnered widespread praise after he risked his own life to save a young man. The incident occurred when a young man named Rishi jumped into the Ramganga River for unknown reasons.

At around 10 PM, the Nagfani police station received information about the incident. Constable Pramod Kumar immediately rushed to the scene. Without hesitation, he leapt into the river, putting his own life at risk, and began a desperate struggle to rescue the young man.

 

SP City Ranvijay Singh confirmed the incident, stating that the Senior Superintendent of Police has commended Constable Kumar’s bravery and decided to honor him with a commendation certificate. This event underscores the presence of dedicated and courageous officers within the police department, who carry out their duties with unwavering commitment and valor.
