Pappu Yadav Receives Death Threat Again: "Your Time Is Up"

Bihar MP Pappu Yadav has been threatened with death once again, this time through a WhatsApp message that warns him that he has only 24 hours to live.

Pappu Yadav, Member of Parliament from Purnia, Bihar, has once again received a death threat. This time, the threat came through a WhatsApp message from an unknown number. The message warned that Yadav had only 24 hours left, and the sender claimed that they had gotten very close to him and would murder him within that timeframe. The message also showed an image of a large explosion and a countdown to the imminent attack.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Pappu Yadav revealed that he has been receiving constant threats for the past one and a half months but stated that he is not afraid. "I am not scared of these threats. I don’t care about them. Who is threatening me, what their motive is, and who they are working for, these are questions that need to be investigated," he said.

Yadav further emphasized that he has no concern for his own safety. "Whether the government provides me security or not, they should at least explain why these threats are happening. If speaking the truth is punishable by death, I am ready to face it a thousand times over. But the government should clarify how threats are being made from within jail," he added.

The threatening message, which has since gone viral on social media, stated: "In the last 24 hours, we will kill you. We are very close, and even your guards won’t be able to save you." Yadav had also previously received a death threat from a Pakistani number last week, with the caller claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The person said they had assigned individuals to monitor Yadav and would strike when given the opportunity.

A person suspected of sending threats to Yadav was arrested by the Purnia police last month in Delhi. However, during interrogation, it was discovered that the individual had no connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Despite this, the threats continue to escalate.
