“Make ‘Made in Bharat’ Mean the Best”: Sadhguru Urges Business Leaders at Brand INSIGHT 2026

At Brand INSIGHT 2026 in Coimbatore, Sadhguru called on Indian business leaders to build “Made in Bharat” into a globally respected symbol of excellence. He highlighted how strong national branding enhances opportunities for citizens and businesses alike and stressed the need for conscious, impactful brand building.

Coimbatore, February 28, 2026: Spiritual leader and founder of Isha Foundation, Sadhguru, called upon Indian business leaders to ensure that the label “Made in Bharat” becomes synonymous with the highest standards of quality and excellence. He was addressing over 100 brand managers, business owners, and C-suite executives at the sixth edition of the Brand INSIGHT leadership program held at the Isha Yoga Center.

In his address, Sadhguru emphasized that a nation’s brand directly impacts its citizens and businesses on the global stage. “You must make sure ‘Made in Bharat’ means it’s the best. You must build a brand like that. When the nation’s brand is built, every citizen’s brand — not only businesses — every citizen’s brand is better,” he said.

Highlighting India’s evolving global perception, he noted that Indian passports now command greater respect internationally compared to a decade ago. “That’s brand building. India is building its brand consciously. Is it enough? No. It must grow much bigger. When Bharat’s brand reaches a certain level, doors will open easily for all other brands,” he added.

The three-day immersive Brand INSIGHT program, designed by Sadhguru and launched in 2023, focuses on conscious branding, purpose-driven positioning, and creative excellence. The sixth edition (February 27–March 1, 2026) featured industry experts including Anisha Motwani, Ameen Haque, Krishnan Subramanian, Rahul Jauhari, Sonal Dabral, and Narayan Devanathan.

The initiative is conducted under the aegis of Sadhguru Academy, which blends yogic wisdom with modern business strategy to help leaders build impactful and globally competitive brands.

The event underscored a central theme: building Brand Bharat is not merely a government effort but a collective responsibility of entrepreneurs, corporations, and citizens alike.
