Speeding Car Crashes into Shops after Breaking Electric Pole in Ghaziabad
In Ghaziabad's Vijay Nagar area, a speeding Hyundai Grand i10 lost control around 1:30 AM, uprooting an electric pole and crashing into shops, including a juice shop. The accident caused significant damage, but a major tragedy was avoided as locals sleeping nearby escaped unharmed. Police detained the driver and a passenger for further investigation.
A speeding Hyundai Grand i10 car lost control late at night in the Vijay Nagar area of Ghaziabad near Gaushala Chowki. It happened around 1:30 AM when the car uprooted the electric pole and crashed into close by shops, including a juice shop.
It was so fierce that airbags in the car popped open. A major tragedy was averted as locals sleeping next to the juice shop were just inches from injury.
Police soon reached the spot and arrested the car driver along with another occupant of the vehicle. Further investigations are underway.
