A New Academic Era Begins: Prof. Subhash Anand Appointed Head of Geography at DSE

Prof. Subhash Anand has been appointed the 24th Head of the Department of Geography at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. A globally recognised geographer and researcher, he is expected to bring fresh direction to academic and research activities in the department.

The prestigious University of Delhi, has got a new dynamic, 24th Head in the Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics. On this occasion, professors, research scholars from various colleges & departments of University of Delhi congratulated and gave him their best wishes. Prof. Subhash Anand is a world known Geographer and distinguished researcher. He is also the holding the position as Chairman of the Governing Body of Satyawati College, University of Delhi.

During his long academic career, Prof. Anand has conducted several important research works in the field of Geography and has established a notable reputation both nationally and internationally. With his appointment as Head of the Department, it is expected that academic and research activities in the Department of Geography will gain new direction and momentum.
