Those Who Aspire For Peace Need To Organise, Just Like Those Who Invest In War: Sadhguru’s Hard-Hitting Message On Independence Day

On Bharat's 78th Independence Day, Sadhguru issued a compelling call for organised efforts in the pursuit of peace, urging that those who aspire for peace must unite and act decisively. “As those who invest in war organise themselves, those who aspire for peace also need to organise,” he declared. He cautioned against “passive apathy,” emphasising that it should not be mistaken for peace, and called for an active, coordinated approach to addressing global challenges.

Reflecting on India's history, Sadhguru noted the lasting impact of British colonialism, stating, “When the British left after two hundred years of occupation, they not only took our wealth, but also dismantled our education, industry, and many other systems that were crucial to build the nation back.”

He emphasised that while Bharat has made significant strides since independence, there is a higher aspiration to fulfil. "It is not enough for Bharat to remain Bharat. Bharat must become Maha-bharat," he said.

Offering a solution, Sadhguru observed, “On the level of the individual, it is only through inclusion that we can experience joy, peace, and balance,” he explained.“When there is no you and the other, there is no conflict. Without addressing the individual, talking about world peace is not going to lead anywhere,” described Sadhguru, highlighting the roadmap for everlasting global peace.
