In Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, one highway has become a crash course—literally. In three days, three cars have met with accidents, leaving three people grievously injured. Despite these back-to-back mishaps, local authorities are in deep slumber, letting Google Maps take the blame.

What is most shocking is the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) showing no sense of urgency, despite a series of accidents at the same spot. Even after two accidents on December 28, officials failed to install warning signs or barriers. And so, motorists continue to navigate into a cul-de-sac of disaster.
