Viral Video: Madhya Pradesh Teacher Cuts Student’s Hair While Drunk

A video showing a teacher cutting a student's hair while under the influence of alcohol has gone viral on social media, sparking widespread outrage. The incident, which occurred on September 5 at a government school in Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh, has led to the teacher, Veer Singh Mehdan, being suspended and criminal charges filed against him.

The disturbing footage shows the teacher, in a drunken state, cutting a female student's hair during class. The video was captured by a local resident who noticed the commotion and recorded the incident on his phone. Despite attempts by villagers to prevent the teacher from continuing, he reportedly boasted about his actions, saying, “You can record the video, but no one can stop me.”

District Collector Rajesh Batham confirmed that Mehdan has been suspended and a criminal case has been registered against him following the viral video's widespread circulation and the subsequent investigation. The authorities are now taking steps to ensure justice for the affected student and hold the teacher accountable for his actions.
