Shaikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of Dubai’s ruler, has made headlines after announcing her divorce from Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Bin Radhis bin Mana Al Maktoum on Instagram. In her official post, Mahra stated, “Dear Husband, As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce.”

She continued, “I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife,” seemingly referencing the triple talaq, an Islamic practice banned in many countries.
